We are mid-term in our spring 2 season- we have so much going on in lessons and lots to celebrate!
SHOW work has begun with our exciting theme of USA VS UK! We should expect some real bangers! Well done to our lovely Tweenies who have returned from Feb HT with excellent focus and commitment and have been showing a mature approach to thier show pieces so far!
As many of you are aware, it has been audition season for our post 18 dancers hoping for success in obtaining a place at a national conservatoire- a HUGE well done to Olivia D who has secured a place at her dream school- DANCE BOX; Another congratulations to Lilia S who has also secured a place at SHOCKOUT studios, Milly W who is headed to EPA on the degree course and Lucie H who has call backs and is on reserve lists for the very top/highly acclaimed schools in London!
We could not be prouder of each of you!
Our Easter Intensive ELEVATE is set for 14.4.25 from 10-3.30pm and boasts an excited array of dance subjects and new teachers - please see below;

Please ensure you have completed registration packs and are familiar with our uniform policy- keep attire and presentation high as we are moving towards a new vision for this from September.
Please expect costume bills on your next invoice and tickets for the show will go on sale in MAY.
Once again the show date is SAT 28th JUNE.
We will be announcing plans for TOWERS over EASTER so please watch this space!!!
Baby Neo is now 10 weeks old and doing very well! Miss N looks forward to returning to some lessons on Fridays after Easter!
We are super excited to welcome HOLLY who is our new private teacher and soon to be our new commercial teacher. Holly is a fully trained dancer and teacher who has so much to share with our wonderful students! That does mean, it is with heavy heart that we must say BYE BYE to our incredible teacher Tea. Tea was a Tallah OG and has been teaching with us for 4 years. She lives the ethos of the school and has her own unique qualities which we all love! In her time as a TDA teacher, she has been a core member of our team and has supported all our shows, Towers trips and so many events! Tea has made a huge difference to the training of our commercial and fusion students and always brings the flavour to the dance floor! We are going to miss her so much but, we wish her well in her new venture in Hull. On a personal note, tea will always have a special link to the Academy and I wish to thank her for her commitment to our Tallah family and I will miss her.

Hi all, welcome back! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Firstly, thank you for all the well wishes, Miss N have birth to a healthy baby boy on 29.12.24, baby Neo! All is well and good!
We have a lovely half term planned, packed with technical training and fun classes!
Please can we all ensure attire is correct, especially for Tuesdays! All ballet students should be in correct footwear. Hair in a bun and a white or Tallah leotard with pink tights and/or shorts. Our new apparel shop on the website is under construction and we wish to encourage more students to make the uniform investment! Professionalism in presentation is important in the world of dance!
Our teacher George is back for 3 weeks only at the end of Jan, before he goes on tour and so, we have private slots up for grabs of you would like them!!
We have an exciting opportunity with Kallam - our videographer- who is offering us our first in- studio dance photography shoot in Feb, so, watch this space!! More info to come out via email!!

We hope you all had a fantastic summer! We’re excited to see many of you at our parent meeting on Friday, 6th September at 6pm. Classes will resume during the week of the 9th, and we can't wait to get started!
We are thrilled to welcome back Lucy, fresh from her professional contract. She’ll be teaching Open Class and Heels at Oaktree Leisure Centre on Mondays. We're also excited to introduce George, who will be teaching ‘Styles’ on Thursdays before heading down south for his professional debut!
Please note that while most classes remain unchanged, there are some new times, so do check our updated timetable.
In the coming weeks, we’ll keep you posted on plans for the show and the Glamour event. We’re looking forward to an exciting season of training with all our dancers!
A huge well done to everyone who took part in our summer workshops, and a big thank you to the talented professionals who led the sessions!

As summer 1 term comes to a close we have lots to celebrate. Our dancers have been working hard towards ‘project she’ which is our dance film-project taking place on 14th July at best wood lodge hotel.
The jazz and fusion crews are now in full flow for Alton towers and have some lovely work produced.
Please anticipate costume invoices for all these dance pieces and a project fee for the video, all of which will be on your next invoice.
We have been so excited to welcome our new Tweenies and the lessons have got off to a brilliant start, welcome all!
Please ensure the correct attire and colours are worn to class and that conduct is on point. No students should be distracted or using phones during lessons.
We are so proud and wish all the best to teacher Lucy who is now in Marbella dancing on contract- we already miss Heels and Latin but we will see her soon!
We hope you enjoy a lovely half term break and we will see you back week commencing 4th June.

Hi, welcome back! We are still feeling elated after our amazing show -CLEO- a huge well done to all our talented dancers! Once again, thank you for all the support.
This half-term, we will continue to train and work on technique, ready for our next dance adventure… watch this space.
Our last training session will be on Friday, 9th Feb, as we break for half-term.
Please use email as the main mode of contact regarding class attendance, absences, and any changes.
We will only be using Instagram and Facebook as modes of sharing class work moving forward.
